Shirley Sage

Shirley "Deon" Sage, age 94, of Greenville passed away on January 16, 2021 at Spectrum Health Rehab and Nursing Center - United Hospital. The son of Charles Wesley & Ira Maude (Musgrove) Sage, he was born on September 09, 1926 in Wales Township. Deon spent his earlier years working for the Pat Bellows Stables. In the early 1960's, after years of working with horses, Deon retired and moved to McBride to live with Pat & Fern Bellows. Deon has been part of the Bellows Family since. After the death of Pat & Fern, Deon moved to the Greenville area, where he continued to be cared for by Nancy Bellows-Farstvedt, and her husband John. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Anna Neil and Marshall Sage. Deon will be missed by Nancy & John (Bellows) Farstvedt, Katie & Mike Thorsen, John & Breann Farstvedt, their children and the rest of the Bellows Family, and his friends at Friendship West Apartments.
