Shirley Beth McCarty, age 77, of Kalamazoo, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo.
The daughter of Aubrey & Hazel (Jackson) Carstens, she was born on August 6, 1934 in Kalamazoo and worked as a dental assistant.
Survivors include two children, Robert A. McCarty, and Susan Walters.
Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
