Shirley Gwozdz

Shirley Ann Gwozdz, age 74, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday morning, March 31, 2015 at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Michigan. The daughter of Joseph Webster & Helia Josephine (Koski) Young, she was born on August 24, 1941 in Cadillac. Shirley retired from the former Electrolux Home Products in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Wesley Ruohonen, Kenneth Ruohonen, and Ralph Young. Surviving are her children, Loring Beech, Katherine Jensen, Ginger Baker, Tammy Warner, Matthew Gwozdz & Ashley Kapp, and Lacy & Taylor Hudson; her grandchildren, Joseph, Amber, Sean, Ashley, Amanda, and Ava; and her great-grandchildren, Gage, Molly, Keri, Chuck, Sarah, Devin and Kaydon. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and a family gathering is being planned for a later date. Burial will take place privately at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Instead of flowers, Shirley would have appreciated contributions in her memory to Hospice of Michigan.
