Shirley Durham

Shirley Ann Durham, age 71, of Greenville, passed away Friday evening, July 8, 2022 at Mission Point of Greenville. The daughter of Eugene & Marvel (Coston) Davis, she was born on May 13, 1951 in Greenville. Friday evening On October 10, 1975, in Greenville, she married Allen Leroy Durham and together they enjoyed nearly 47 years of marriage and had two children. Shirley had also worked outside the home at the former Ore-Ida Foods plant in Greenville, and enjoyed soaking in the sunshine on her porch and watching parades, but most of all she delighted in time spent with her family. Shirley had attended Greenville Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Aaron Leroy Durham on July 29, 2000; and her parents-in-law, Aldon Leroy & Joanne Lee Durham. Surviving are her husband, Allen L. Durham of Greenville; a daughter, Sonja Davis and her fiancee, Johnnie Essex, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Heather & Wayne Rogers, Christopher Hirschy & Morghan Anderson, and Jennifer Hirschy & Johnny Olivarez; six great-grandchildren, Blayton, Emerson, Blake, Xavier, Bailey, and Morgan; a sister, Janet Davis of Sumner; a brother, Jeff & Debbie Davis of Lakeview; siblings-in-law, Starr Mason & Bryan Ashley, Rocky Durham, and Bobbie Jo Durham, all of Greenville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Rev. Bryan Savage, pastor of Greenville Community Church, will officiate and burial will take place privately at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 511 S.
