Shelbia Evans

Shelbia R. Evans, age 83, of Gowen, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at her home under the loving care of her daughter, son-in-law, and Corewell Health Hospice. The daughter of Hubert & Myrtle (Pitts) Kelley, she was born on January 23, 1941 in Alexander City, Alabama. In 1986, she married the love of her life, William "Bill" Evans in Reno, Nevada. Shelbia dedicated herself to her pets, especially her dog Sassy, who was her faithful companion until the very end. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Faye & Barbara.
