Shawn Johnson

Shawn Thomas Johnson, age 27, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. The son of Thomas Ross & Carol Jean (Linderman) Johnson, he was born on June 29, 1988 in Grand Rapids and had attended East Kentwood High School. Shawn worked as a carpenter in the construction trade and enjoyed 70's music and playing guitar. He had a warm heart and loved to make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony & Ruth Johnson, and Mary Linderman. Surviving are his parents, Tom & Carol Johnson of Kentwood; brothers and sisters, Brett (Jen) Johnson, Brian (Rebecca) Johnson, Denise Johnson, Jennifer (Scott) Schuette, David (Tiff) Jones, and Lisa (Dusty) Day.
