Sean Jones

Sean Michael Jones, age 31, of Holland, formerly of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home. The son of Craig Lyn & Lisa Kay (Merrick) Jones, he was born on October 26, 1991 in Bethesda, Maryland. A 2009 graduate of Timber Creek High School, Sean served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Global War on Terrorism, having been deployed to Afghanistan and Kuwait. He enjoyed weightlifting, being with friends and family, fishing, and loved music more than life itself. Sean competed professionally in weight lifting competitions throughout 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Craig L. Jones on November 27, 2019. Surviving are two brothers and a sister, Aaron Jones of Holland, Caleb Jones, and Madsyn Jones, both of Orlando Florida; his mother, Lisa Jones of Titusville, Florida; his grandfather, Roger Jones; his grandmother, Polly Mix; his paternal aunt, Dawn TenBrink; two paternal uncles, Dean Jones, and Nicholas Jones; special family friends and his Godparents, Todd & Billiejo Snider; and a host of beloved friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Sean's life beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Stanton American Legion Post No. 452 located at 337 W. Day Street in Stanton, Michigan. Instead of flowers, contributions may be directed to his brother, Aaron Jones (checks payable to Aaron Jones) and may be mailed in care of Christiansen's, 511 S.
