Sandra Lee Neumann, age 74, of Long Lake, Orleans, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 6, 2022 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. Born on August 25, 1948 in Owosso, she was a proud Class of 1966 graduate of Belding High School.
On June 29, 1968, in Belding, she married Frederick Gene Neumann, and together they raised one daughter and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Sandy delighted in time spent with her family and enjoyed her regular mini-reunion lunches and dinners with her high school classmates. She was an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, and playing Bejeweled on the computer.
She was preceded in death her mother, Bonita (Howe) Moshier; her step-father, Frank Moshier; a sister, Pam Sloan; and a brother, Jim Seely.
Surviving are her husband, Fred Neumann of Orleans; their daughter and son-in-law, Laura & Clint Holly of Smyrna; one granddaughter, Samantha Grace Holly; two sisters, Carla Seely and Kathy Palmer; a brother, Bob Seely; a sister-in-law, Charlyn Wing of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 12-1 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Pastor Paul Hulford of the First Congregational Church of Belding will officiate and burial will take place privately at Fairplains Township Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, Sandy would have appreciated contributions in her memory to The B Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
