Samuel Duane Darling, Jr., age 63, of Greenville, formerly of Lansing and Tennessee, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his brother's home in Greenville under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Diane Mildred (Gongaware) & Samuel Duane Darling, Sr., he was born on August 13, 1955 in Lodi, California. Sam was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors in Springhill, Tennessee.
