Sally Moran

Sally K. Moran, 74, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Vista Springs Rediscovery Lofts, Wyoming, under the care of Grace Hospice. The daughter of Benjamin & Bonita (Weeks) Lamb she was born January 18, 1945, in Boyne City. Sally spent much of her time outdoors, she loved fishing, boating, and gardening. She was an amazing artist, she loved to paint in any medium. Sally carried her creativeness into her work life, she spent her working years as a hair dresser, owning and operating Sally's Hairport in Boyne City. In her later years she wintered in Florida with her partner, Louis; they enjoyed the sunshine and made many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Gerald Gibbons, Ronald Gibbons, and David Lamb; and her life partner Louis Holm. Sally is survived by her children, Kevin & Bambi Moore, and Brian & Beth Moore; grandchildren, Derik, Christopher, Abby, and Jake; two great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family and friends. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A committal service will take place Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at 11 A.M., at Maple Lawn Cemetery, 1050 Boyne Avenue, Boyne City, 49712. Instead of flowers, contributions in Sally's honor to aid in Alzheimer's research would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation and Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
