Ruth Bryant

Mrs. Ruth Barbara Bryant, age 83, formerly of Grand Rapids, departed this life and returned to the Lord at 7:42 a.m. on Monday morning, September 14, 2009 from Ingham Regional Medical Center, Lansing. Ruth confessed Christ at an early age. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her large family. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband James Bryant, sisters Doris Anderson and Evelyn Daniels, brother Herbert Williams, son Michael Bryant, daughters, Kathleen Price and Charlene Bryant. She leaves to honor and cherish her memory: a sister, Shirley Griffin; five children, Kevin Bryant, Steve Bryant, Saundra Pfeifer, Marshall Bryant, Gary Bryant, and Joseph Bryant. She has seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special family members and friends. Memorial services are at 12:00 Noon on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 1441 Leonard Street N.E., Grand Rapids. Honoring Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place.
