Russell McNeill Ward age 65, of Greenville, passed away October 13, 2020 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
The son of Donald McNeill Baker & Beverly Irene (Arble) Ward, he was born on April 25, 1955 in Detroit. A graduate of Forest Hills Central, he was a certified mechanic and enjoyed motorcycles, guns, cars, knives and good conversation. He was a member of the Wayward Sons and enjoyed attending their many gatherings. He loved people and was known as a talker and a dreamer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald McNeill Baker Ward. Surviving are his mother, Beverly Ward; three children, David Ward & Sarah Anderson, Daniel Ward, and Debra Ward & Cameron Hill; fourteen grandchildren, Sonia, Cameron, Josclyn, Issac, Connor, Ava, Kaysea, Owen, Dakota, Jasmine, Abbigale, Logan, Autumn, and Elizabeth; one great-grandchild, Jadeleigh; his sister, Robin & Jim; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Rebecca, Kyle, and Trevor; and many special friends.
Due to the continued restrictions on social gatherings, memorial services are being planned for May of 2021 at the First Congregational Church of Belding with Pastor Paul Hulford officiating. Service times and dates will be announced in the spring.
