Russell Rottman

Russell Gene Rottman, born July 25, 1959, passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Ellen Rottman; and is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Chris) Willey; his grandson, Theodore; his siblings, Jill (Ron) Hausmann, Julie (Dave) VanHaitsma, Matt (Sarah) Rottman; many nieces and nephews, and good friend and mentor, Ted Gerrard. While his life was often a struggle, we give thanks that he is free from the bonds that he faced on this earth and is now whole in heaven. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Teen Challenge. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am on Monday, March 28, 2022 with memorial service to follow at 11:00 am at Grace Church, 100 Buckley St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI. Military honors will be conducted by Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
