Russell Rogers

Russell Rogers, age 68, of Galesburg, passed away on September 6, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1954, in Plainwell, to Kenneth & Bernice Rogers. Russell worked for Montgomery Wards Automotive dept. & several other Automotive places as a Licensed Mechanic, in Kalamazoo and Plainwell. He also worked at several different factories in Battle Creek and down by Athens. He enjoyed stock car racing at Galesburg Speedway for years, and also loved paragliding over the sand dunes on the great lakes. He liked to fish, and spend time on the lakes swimming as well. And He LOVED HIS cats... Survivors include his sister Carolyn Burt of Terrell, TX. numerous nieces and nephews along with the greats. He is preceded in death by: His mother and father, sisters Laura & her husband James Engleman, & Rebecca Sullivan of Manistee.
