Rosemary Piffer

Rosemary Piffer, age 80, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was born August 15, 1939, in Almena Township in Van Buren County in the state of Michigan, to the late Harvey Silas Piffer and Ethel Irene Lee. Rosemary was a huge family person. She loved her family so much. Her whole life she put her family first. She will miss all her family and friends here on earth, but she is so happy to be up there in Heaven with all her loved ones. All she would talk about was her family. She had a full and happy life. Rosemary is survived by her children, Sandra "Sandy", Teresa, Jacqueline "Jackie", Edward "Ed", George "Jr.", and Joseph "Joe" Starks; sister, Lorraine Stewart; and many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She had such a large family and she loved them all so much! Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Georgia Starks; and sisters, Harriet McKeag and Irene Buck. Per her wishes Rosemary is being cremated and will be buried with her parents at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton, MI, behind the three flags towards the back of the cemetery.
