Mrs. Rose Ann Hubbard, age 74, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at home under the loving care of her family. The daughter of William A. & Jeanette M. (Murphy) McDonald, she was born on May 19, 1933 in Uhrichsville, Ohio.
On Sept. 27, 1951, in Cedar Springs, she married Laurence W. Hubbard. Together, they had five children and owned and operated Larry Hubbard & Sons farm equipment sales west of Greenville. A devoted wife and mother, she also enjoyed crocheting and needlework, collecting angels, tending her birds and flowers but her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her the most joy in life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette; her father, William; her step-mother, Harriet; three sisters, Eileen, Marie, and Mary Lee; a brother, Duane; and two children, Jan Nette and Rex Eugene.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Larry Hubbard of Greenville; their three children, Mark W. & Diana Hubbard of Gowen, Teresa A. & Charles Jancura of Grafton, Ohio, and Jeff & Ginny Hubbard of Gowen; her sister, Nancy Parcell of Uhrichsville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brian & Loretta Gardner, Jamie Hubbard, Michael & Lynette Hubbard, Marwan Tawachi, Amanda Hubbard, and Rex Hubbard; fourteen great grandchildren, Victoria, Koty, Laurence, Rhandi, Gabe, Britny, Shelby, Brody, Lucas, Zach, Devyn, Daryn, Tyler, Makayla, with the fifteenth on the way; siblings-in-law, Leo Hubbard of Howard City, Dorothy Holland of Greenville, Don & Edna Hubbard of Coral, and Donna Hubbard of Pierson; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
