Rose Garza

Rose Elena Garza, age 69, of Grand Rapids, passed away on July 17, 2018. The daughter of Aristeo & Dora (Narezo) Garza, she was born on July 26, 1948 in Heroica Matamores, Mexico. Rose was the most loving mother, grandmother and sister. She loved to sing, draw, dance, read and tell stories. Rose was an educator and worked hard her entire life. She was described as the most beautiful angel of her family. Rose is survived by her son, Jesus Lara; her daughter, Melinda Lara & Richard Koon; her grandchildren, Angel Lara, Dominique Gray, Leandro Lara and Logan Lara; great-grandchildren, Antonio Lara, Analysse Koprin and Aliyana Lara; brothers, George & Laurie Garza and Robert & Cheryl Garza; sisters, Maria M. Garza, Irma Villarreal, Angela Garza, Grace Garza and Gloria Garza. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including, Gabriel Villarreal & Sara Dewey, Jason Rincones, Matthew & Jessica Garza and Amanda & Jeremy Stutz. Rose also leaves behind many other friends and family that knew her and loved her dearly.
