Ronnie Christensen

Ronnie Lee Christensen, age 68, of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, July 9, 2015 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of John J. & Dora Jane (Greenhoe) Christensen, he was born on March 20, 1947 in Greenville. A proud veteran of the Vietnam War, Ron served with the U.S. Army. Following his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, he continued to serve with the 1073rd Maintenance Company of the Michigan National Guard and attained the rank of Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger Christensen; and a great-nephew, Zach Steffes. Surviving of his wife, Maria Gallo-Christiansen of Greenville; a brother, DeWayne & Grace Christensen of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
