Ronda Dare

February 2, 1964 — January 31, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that we remember the life of Ronda Elaine Dare, who graced the world with her presence on February 2, 1964, in Grand Rapids, MI, and sadly left us on January 31, 2024. Known affectionately as Ronnie to her loved ones, Ronda was a beacon of light to all who knew her, radiating an aura of love, humor, and unyielding support. In the words of Mark Twain, "The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation." Ronda embodied this through her devotion to her family, her love of law, and her passion for crocheting. Ronda was a loving individual who lived life to the fullest, with an unyielding spirit and a heart filled with compassion. She was a supportive mother, a thoughtful sister, and a funny friend who always knew how to lighten the mood with her sharp wit and infectious laughter. Ronda had an insatiable thirst for knowledge, particularly in law and politics. She proudly completed studies on Constitution 101, fully immersing herself in the meaning and history of the constitution. This accomplishment was a testament to her intellectual curiosity and tenacity. Ronda's journey took her to various places, from Big Rapids to Nevada, Alabama to Kentucky, but she always found her way back to Michigan. She resided in Reed City, surrounded by the love of her children; Edwin Parker, Jesse Parker & Tiffany Chenard, Pamela Parker, Tracy Stutzman, Ronnie Jay MacKay, Kepha & Jessica Stutzman, and Theresa Wheater. Ronda is also survived by her sister Cynthia Oates, and her step-siblings; Alberta Cornelius, Anthony Shell, Brent Deurloo, & Maxine Deurloo, and several grandchildren; Shawn, October, Allan, Miriah, and Aidan. She was preceded in death by her parents; Wallace Dare & Nan ( Slater) Deurloo, her sisters; Sheila Harper, Myra Jean Burghuff, and Stacy Dare, her spouse Edwin Parker, and her step-parents; Jack Deurloo & Lola (Bentley) Dare. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. To send a message of sympathy to the family, sign Ronda's online guest book, or to share a favorite memory, please visit: www.MichiganCremation.com. Let us remember Ronda not just for her accomplishments and the challenges she overcame, but for the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the lives she touched. As we celebrate Ronda's life, let us remember the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson: "It is not length of life, but depth of life." Ronda's life was indeed deep, filled with love, laughter, and a spirit that will continue to inspire us all. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Christiansen’s Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville, 616-754-5638.
