Ronald Wilson

Ronald Lowell Wilson, age 67, of Carson City, passed away Thursday morning, August 20, 2015 at The Laurels of Carson City. The son of Harry Lowell & Dorothy Jeanette (Pierce) Wilson, he was born on May 12, 1948 in Carson City. After graduating high school, Ron proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany and Korea during the Vietnam war. He retired from the former Electrolux Home Products in Greenville and was an avid reader, loved watching movies, and was especially proud of his 1968 Ford Mustang. He greatly enjoyed meeting with his morning coffee crew at The Rusty Nail in Carson City. He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother-in-law, Gilbert Elliott. Surviving are his mother, Dorothy Wilson of Perrinton; his daughter, Mindie Graszler of Grand Ledge; three grandchildren, Molly, Mitchell, and Mikea Graszler, all of Grand Ledge; a sister, Carol Elliott of Perrinton; a brother, Rick & Becky Wilson of Perrinton; four nieces, Stacey Williams, Kristine Leasher, Jennifer Wilson, and Lauren Elliott; and a life-long friend, Raymond Everingham. Visitation with the family is from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Carson City United Methodist Church, 119 E. Elm Street, Carson City, with memorial services beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Pastor Ed Milam will officiate and military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army. A luncheon will follow the ceremonies and interment will take place privately at Bloomer Township Cemetery at a later date.
