Ronald Sharpe

October 20, 1939 — October 28, 2022

Ronald John Sharpe, of Lansing - age 83, passed away unexpectedly on October 28th, 2022 at Sparrow Hospital in Charlotte. He was born October 20th, 1939 in Lansing. He married Sharon Pakes on December 10th, 1960 and they celebrated 58 years together before she preceded him in death in December 2018. They are together again. Ron was a member of the United States Marine Corps. He worked with the public his entire life at Pepsi Cola, Olympia Beer, and Heatherwood Farms. He was at his best being his own boss. He sold snacks and treats from Better Made and other suppliers. He met many people in his business life who became lifelong friends. Dad loved to fish and when invited, he would accept faster than asking the question. He also loved going on his occasional outing to various casinos. He was a big MSU fan and supported his grandsons in every activity, sport or hobby during their high school and college days. Ron will be forever celebrated in the hearts of his daughters, Cindy Bouchard (Tim) of Grand Ledge & Tammy Johnson (Brian) of Kokomo, Indiana, his grandsons Brad Bouchard (Jessi) of South Lyon & Daniel Johnson (Symantha) of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a great friend to many but special thanks to Lois Gray and Debbie for being there when Dad needed you. Also, a gigantic thank you to Andre, John and the entire Manuel Family for your love and kindness over the past 4 years. He loved each and every one of you very much. There will be a private celebration of life at a later time but if you would like to honor the memory of Ron, please consider a donation to the Eaton County Humane Society, 7095 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, Michigan, 48906. He loved visiting the kitty cats and giving them all the love he could. Thank you for your continued prayer for our family. We love you Dad and already miss you terribly. We will always fish in your memory and hope "Here fishy, fishy" brings the best catch ever! Cremation Arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, 616-452-3006.
