Ronald Ream

Ronald Dale Ream, age 63, of Trufant, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 after an accident at home. The son of Rowland D. & Orpha Fern (Strecker) Ream, he was born on April 17, 1959 in Grand Rapids. Ronald was a graduate of Cedar Springs High School. Lovingly remembered as an OCD informant enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting, was an eccentric collector, a legendary barterer, had the most infectious laugh, and loved his boxers. Time with his family was his greatest joy, and he will forever be remembered for all of the laughter and great times that were had. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Ronald Ream Jr., his grandson, Billy; and his sister, Janeice & Virgil Wellman. Surviving are his children, his fiance, Susan Empie of Trufant; three children, Amanda Ream of Ohio, Jeffrey Ream of Trufant, and Sarah Ream of Edmore; his step children, Kelly (Jacob) Mulder of Trufant and Julia Empie of Sand Lake; eight grandchildren, Alex, Kyle, Ayden, Nora, Carson, Ava, Asia, and Kristina; his siblings, Keith & Barb Ream, Dwayne & Ellen Ream, and Connie & Ron Bennett; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Huggard Bible Church, 8860 21 Mile Road, Sand Lake, where memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with Senior Pastor Jonathan Clear officiating.
