Ronald Novak

Ronald Gary Novak, age 80, of Grandville, Michigan passed away Tuesday August 8, 2023. Ronald was born August 27, 1942 in Detroit to Dave & Betty (Edmunds) Novak. He grew up in various communities in Southwest Oakland County graduating from Seaholm High School in 1960. He attended Ferris State University for the next 3 years then dropped out to serve in the US Army serving in California and Alaska. He then returned to Ferris, graduated and attended Central Michigan University to earn his Master's Degree. Ron worked for companies in the Grand Rapids area until his retirement. He loved golfing, swimming, hunting and fishing. He was a gifted wood worker and had his own booth in the Holly Renaissance Festival where he and his wife Lynn sold hand crafted mugs. Ron is survived by his wife Lynn, daughter Rachel Kozal, his brother Drew Novak, Lynn's daughters Jennifer Beattie-Cramer, Lesa Remenap and their families along with several cousins and nephews/nieces. Cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, 616-452-3006.
