Ronald Dean Garner

Ronald D. Garner, age 78, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on June 25, 2026 at the Grand Rapids Veterans Home in Grand Rapids, Mi.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

Ronald is preceded in death by sisters, Marilyn Sebek, and Gwendolyn Karel; and is survived by sisters Marcia Ashby and Cynthia McGinnley.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at the Michigan Home for Veterans, 2950 Monroe Ave. N.E. Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505, on July 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
