Roger Yokom

Roger Kenneth Yokom Jr., age 63, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Takus, his stepfather, Harold Sage, and his in-laws, Twila and Richard Cannon. Roger is survived by his sons Scott (Danielle) Yokom and Chad (Khristianne) Yokom; his girlfriend, Ellie Larsen and her daughter Mindy Larsen; his siblings, Patricia (Dennis) Gillett, Don (Lynn) Yokom, and Rick (Jo Ellen) Yokom; his grandsons Ellis, Riley, and Owen Yokom; and numerous nieces and nephews. Roger graduated from Northview High School in 1965. After high school, Roger honorably served our country in Vietnam. Roger worked for Steelcase and retired after more than 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at his property in Baldwin, and playing with his grandsons. Honoring Roger's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
