Rodney Bartlett

Rodney Charles Bartlett, age 66, of Sheridan, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at home. The son of Charles & Bernice (Hall) Bartlett, he was born on September 20, 1952 in Sheridan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four children, Beverly Bartlett (in infancy), Tammy Bartlett, Stephan Bartlett, and Chuck Bartlett. Surviving are his companion of 34 years, Tina Hunt; a son, Timothy Bartlett of Indiana; his grandchildren, William & Lillian Guthrie of Stanton, Irene Bloom of Vestaburg, and James Guthrie of Sheridan; one great-grandchild, Owen Guthrie; six siblings, Julie Abbott of Alaska, Phillip Bartlett of Lakeview, Kenneth & Bonnie Bartlett of Stanton, Stanley & Ruth Bartlett of Greenville, Rebecca & Ernie Utter of Indiana, Verna Magham of Stanton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation is from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rev. Kevin Crowell, pastor of Beth Haven Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will take place privately at Evergreen Township Cemetery near Sheridan. Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to consider the needs of the family. Envelopes for contributions will be available at the funeral home.
