Robin Lee Peavey, age 75, of White Cloud, formerly of Novi, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Newaygo County Compassion Home under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Kenneth & Harriett (Rossman) Peavey, he was born on March 26, 1946 in Battle Creek. On July 7, 2007, in White Cloud, he married Sandra Mae Vincent.
Robin was an electrician with the Ford Motor Company, and retired as a skilled tradesman at Wixom Ford. He was an animal and nature lover, and was also an old school "Trekie," and watched Star Trek up to his last days. He loved going to the big lake and watching sunsets, and he described himself as a "sunset junkie."
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Patricia Brown Peavey. He is survived by wife, Sandy (Vincent) Peavey; his daughter, Angela (Greg) Christiana; two sons, Richard Peavey, and Kenneth Peavey; three grandchildren, who he adored, Pavia, Matteo and Joshua; his two sisters, Melody (David) Taylor, Brooke (Richard) Rayl; five sisters-in-law, Carol (Bill) Parkins, Connie Vincent, Barbara (Joses) Anderson, Karen Hanson and Kim Mills: two brothers-in-law, Donald (Stephanie Grell), and Dan Vincent; and his fur-babies, who were his constant companions.
In the words of Dr McCoy from Star Trek "He's not really dead. As long as we remember him."
