Robin Jean Beemer, age 42, of Lakeview, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2023 from the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
The daughter of Gilbert & Debra (Schultz) Beemer, she was born on August 12, 1980 in Lakeview. Although she lived a short but fulfilling life, Robin was a loving mother to five wonderful boys, a caring sister, and an amazing friend.
Robin was always one to wear her heart on her sleeve, and was considered to be the glue that held the family together. She was a real life super hero to those who knew her. She was also the light and laughter that brightened every room. Robin enjoyed spending time sitting around a table enjoying a good cup of coffee and a great conversation.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; a brother, Ernie; a sister, Missy; a brother-in-law, Gary; a great-niece, Oakleigh; and several aunts and uncles.
Surviving are her fiancee, Jerry Williams; her five son, Nathen Beemer, Chase Beemer, Izaiah Beemer, Martelis Beemer, and Alexzander Williams; a brother, Will & Jennifer Beemer; a sister, Sarah & Patrick Fielding; a few aunts and uncles; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Also surviving is her dear friend, Heather Rae Hissong, who shares this poem:
To my best friend, I miss and love you...
I lay in my bed at night,
I toss and I turn
Dreaming of you,
opening my eyes,
Looking for my friend,
The friend in my dreams
Is no Where around
So as I sit here and wonder a tear starts to roll
Weeping quietly, my pillow I hold.
The friend in my dreams is in the night even though she's no where in sight.
I just want her to know
That I do love her so,
This is written with a pen, and sealed with a kiss, if you're my best friend please answer this.
Why did you leave me?
So broken and alone,
Unable to see
The friendship you have shown.
You said you'd always be here
And now here we are today
Its time for me to face my fear
Knowing that you're so far away.
