Robert Wilson

Robert "Bob" E. Wilson, age 74, of Grand Rapids, Passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at home surrounded by family. The son of Robert & Caroline (Groters) Hall, he was born on September 16, 1943 in Grand Rapids. Bob was a hard worker and retired from Steelcase after 33 years. His favorite hobby was camping and spending time with his family. Bob was also the guy that would talk with anyone and make friends will all. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hall; parents, Harry & Carol Wilson; sister, Jean Anne Wilson; mother and father -in-law, Lena & William M. Wilson; along with many aunts and uncles from the Hall family. Surviving are his forever family and loving wife, Betty of 52 years; son, Bob Jr. (Crystal) Wilson; best buddy & grandson, Kaleb; sister-in-law, Terry Heintzelman; brother-in-law, John Heintzelman; aunts, Dorothy Groters, and Evelyn Groters; along with many cousins. Dorothy Groters, and Evelyn Groters; Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
