Robert Pombier

Robert Ellis Pombier, age 48, of Coldwater, passed away peacefully Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Battle Creek. The son of Philip & Cora (Lepird) Pombier, he was born on November 9, 1962 in Albion, Michigan and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father, in 1999, and his mother, in 2009. Surviving are his sisters, Tina (Mike) Stepp of Coldwater, and Coy Jones of Maysville, NC; four nephews and a niece; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Committal services, with full military honors, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Battle Creek V.A. Medical Center.
