Mr. Robert Allen Bob Burns III, age 52, of Turk Lake, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2005 at his home. The son of Robert A. & Helen L. (Martin) Burns, he was born on Aug. 26, 1953. A graduate of Greenville High School, Bob worked most of his life as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushrooming, and was always willing to help his family and friends. Surviving are his mother, Helen L. Burns of Greenville; his father, Robert A. Burns II of Lake; three sisters, Rebecah Benjamin of Grand Rapids, Sherry & Lindon Buckley of Belding, and Cathy Rush of Greenville; an uncle and two aunts, Ridgeway & Sandy Burns, and Sue Hoye; nine nieces and nephews, Lisa Bristol, Carl Wise, Melissa Benjamin, Stephanie Ollson, Sherry Lynn Oetting, Terry Buckley, Borden Buckley, Mindy Key, and Heather Christensen; several great nieces and great nephews; and many cousins and friends. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, with a family prayer service at 8:00 p.m. Following cremation, final interment will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
