Robert Bruce “Bobby” Howat, Jr., age 60 of Greenville, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at home under the care of his wife and Corewell Health Hospice. The son of Robert & Jane Howat, he was born on December 16, 1965 in Dunedin, Florida. On April 4, 2012, he married Patricia Lynn Burgess and together they enjoyed thirteen years of marriage.
Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing and just being out-doors. He was a thrill seeker and enjoyed action-packed videogaming. He covered numerous miles with his best friend Les as a truck driver for over twenty years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, shortly after he was born; his father; two precious babies he and his wife were looking forward to raising together; and his mother-in-law, Colleen Burgess.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia Howat; his children, Abi Burgess & David Burgess; his best friend, Les Eversole, II; Les’s children (who were his honorary nieces and nephew), Rachelle & Dylan Higbee, Trey Eversole, Rebecca, her fiancé Jace, & their daughter Hadley; and his father-in-law, Gordon Burgess.
