Robert Green

Robert Earl Green, age 80, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Spectrum Health Rehab & Nursing Center surrounded by family. The son of George L. & Virginia B. (Losey) Green, he was born on April 7, 1937 in Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Keegstra; and sister, Ardith Provenzano. Robert is survived by his son, Jeff (Laura) Green; granddaughters, Mia, Leah, and Emma; sister, Marilyn Woods; nephews, Ammar, Troy, and Brian Amonette; his close friend and caregiver, Amber (Kabir) Ivy, and their children, Aylaree, Erilynn and Kabir Jr.; as well as his dear friend, Connie Walters. A committal service with full military honors will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, 48442.
