Robert Densmore

Robert L. Densmore, age 59 of Eaton Rapids, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. The son of Clifford L. & Ruth (Parmenter) Densmore, he was born on January 20, 1957 in Lansing. As a young man Bob spent countless hours with his father and brothers in the garage working on cars. This inspired him as he served in the Armed forces for the U.S. Army as a tank mechanic and was stationed in Germany. Bob also worked faithfully for General Motors for over 25 years retiring just this past year. Bob loved his family, hunting, fishing, riding his ATV, NASCAR, and working in the garage. He was a loving grandfather who passed on his knowledge to his grandchildren. He is deeply loved and will never be forgotten. Robert is preceded in passing by his father; Surviving are is his wife, Michaela Densmore; mother, Ruth Irene Densmore; daughters, Tennille L. Courtot and Melissa Densmore; grandchildren, Johnathon, Elijah, Solomon, Tirzah, Caleb, Judah, Tamar, Taliah Courtot, Linny and Juna Grossmann; siblings, Karen Paworth, Linda Pelton, Caroline Fenby, Clifford Densmore, Kenneth Densmore, Thomas Densmore, Sue Hildabridle, Linda Havens, Lou Ann Sober, Ronald Densmore, Debbie Densmore, and Judy Densmore; as well as many nieces and nephews. Robert is pr eceded in passing by his father; Surviving are is his wife, Michaela Densmore; mother, Ruth Irene Densmore; daughters, Tennille L. Courtot and Melissa Densmore; grandchildren, Johnathon, Elijah, Solomon, Tirzah, Caleb, Judah, Tamar, Taliah Courtot, Linny and Juna Grossmann; siblings, Karen Paworth, Linda Pelton, Caroline Fenby, Clifford Densmore, Kenneth Densmore, Thomas Densmore, Sue Hildabridle, Linda Havens, Lou Ann Sober, Ronald Densmore, Debbie Densmore, and Judy Densmore; as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the VFW Post 2406, 695 Lansing St., Charlotte. A graveside service with full military honors will follow the same day at 3:30 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, 400 East Reading Rd., Osseo. Honoring Roberts wishes, cremation will take place.
