Robert Blaisdell

Robert Keith Bob Blaisdell, Sr., age 75, of Greenville, went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning, July 8, 2005, from Metron of Greenville. The son of Theodore & Lorraine Blaisdell, he was born on April 14, 1930 in Saginaw. Bob had served with the U.S. Army following World War II and spent most of his working years as a grinder in a tool and die shop. On Oct. 12, 1985, in Belding, he married the former Christel Joy Fountain. Bobs care and devotion for his wife, Christel, was a living testimony of his Christian faith. He attended Living Faith Family Church, enjoyed watching old classic movies, and had a unique sense of humor. Surviving are his wife of almost 20 years, Christel J. Blaisdell of Greenville; his children, Robert Jr. & Jessica Blaisdell of California, and Ann Marie & Donnell Jackson of Saginaw; a sister, Marlene Blaisdell of Georgia; three grandchildren, Angie, Cindy, and Jeff; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville. The Rev. LeRoy Dyke, pastor of the Living Faith Family Church, will officiate, with messages also shared by the Rev. Jim Wilcox, Pastor George Dwelley, and Pastor Tommy Turner. Visitation is one hour prior to services beginning at 3:00 p.m. Instead of flowers, the family asks that you please consider contributions in memory of Bob.
