Robert Bardwell

Robert L. Bardwell, age 67, of Byron Center and Sandy Pines, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital after a courageous fight with heart disease. The son of Harrison & Lois (Reynolds) Bardwell, he was born May 01, 1949 in Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Bardwell; and brother, Harry Bardwell. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Sally Bardwell; children, Erin (Greg) Patrick, Shawn O'Hara, Jennifer (Sam) Kamal, Tracy Bardwell, and Rob Bardwell; grandchildren, Callahan, Quinn, Aubree, Miley Patrick, Jesse Mills, Thomas, Ryan, Connell O'Hara, Payton, Kameron Kamal, Neeley, Noodin, and Niiwin Bardwell; sisters, Jane Olejniczak, Mary Szyszlowski, and Joan Vanderpan; and brothers, Raymond and David Bardwell. A celebration of Roberts life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25th at The American Legion, 133 44th St. Grand Rapids. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Sally Bardwell; children, Erin (Greg) Patrick, Shawn O'Hara, Jennifer (Sam) Kamal, Tracy Bardwell, and Rob Bardwell; grandchildren, Callahan, Quinn, Aubree, Miley Patrick, Jesse Mills, Thomas, Ryan, Connell O'Hara, Payton, Kameron Kamal, Neeley, Noodin, and Niiwin Bardwell; sisters, Jane Olejniczak, Mary Szyszlowski, and Joan Vanderpan; and brothers, Raymond and David Bardwell.
