Ricky Schregardus

Ricky Nelson Schregardus, age 66, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1958, in Grand Rapids, to Nelson & Ruth Schregardus. Ricky proudly served in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of Specialist 4th Class. He was proud of his time in the armed forces as a Military Policeman. He worked for Benteler Automotive. Ricky was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Kim Schregardus; siblings, Kay Carlberg and Michael & Valerie Schregardus; mother-in-law, Phyllis Blik; sister-in-law, Mindy & Don Bryant; brother-in-law, Joel & Elaine Blik; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelson & Ruth Schregardus; infant siblings, Timothy Allen & Allen Timothy; and father-in-law, William Blik. A Funeral Service and Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue SE, Grand Rapids. Burial will be at Findlay Cemetery.
