Rick Paul Ochodnicky, age 59, of Harvard, passed away after a brief illness, April 4, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital with his family by his side. The son of Jack P. Ochodnicky & Phyllis Ann Custer, he was born on August 10, 1958 in Saginaw. On August 4, 1979, in Chesaning, he married Charlene Ann Bardoni, and together, they enjoyed 38 years of marriage.
Rick was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed anything with speed; especially John Force drag racing, motorcycles, and tinkering with cars.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Blake Gower. Surviving are his wife, Char; his children, Rick P. Ochodnicky II & Ashley Rath, Joshua Ochodnicky & Brooke Rish, and Dawn Gower-Hensley; his father Jack P. Ochodnicky & Maggie Hilliard; his mother, Phyllis Custer; six grand children, Cody, Ally, Kya, Mason, Brittany, and Brandy; four brothers, Doug Ochodnicky, Jack & Tonya Ochodnicky, Donald Ochodnicky, and Christopher & Holly Ochodnicky; his sister, Julie & James Quarters; his sister in law, Patricia Sizick; his brother in law, Michael & Tena Bardoni; his life-long friend, Buck Mahl; special cousins, Craig and Curtis Ochodnicky; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.
