Richard Wolf

Richard Joseph Wolf Sr, age 84 of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. Richard, or "Dick" as he was often referred to, was born to Albin and Margaret (Steffes) Wolf in Wyoming, Michigan on May 24, 1938. Dick joined the Army with his cousin Clifford "Tip" Steffes and went on to serve as an M.P. in Korea. He received an Honorable Discharge in December, 1958. Returning home, he resumed his employment at Steelcase from which he retired after 45 years as the most senior employee. (7/16/1956 - 9/07/2001) He married Phyllis Ann Prim of Reed City on May 7, 1960. Together they had 5 children: Richard, Tracy, Pauline, Rhonda, and Joey. They also had 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dick spent his retirement years going fishing and had weekly breakfast gatherings with old classmates as well as dinners with his many siblings at a different restaurant each week. His first thought was of others, when ever he had something extra. With is kind and gentle nature, it made him a natural as Santa for family gatherings. He was known for his witty sense of humor throughout his life and maintained it to his final days. He will be dearly missed...
