May 10, 1948 — February 11, 2013

Richard A. Warren, age 64, of Grand Rapids passed away February 11, 2013 following a long illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Mellinger. Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Laurel Warren; his father, Wilbur Mellinger; his children, Dylan Warren, Christina Neading (David Seif), and Pamela Savage; sisters, Sandra Stedman (Bill), Janet Warren, Patty Miller (Steve); and a brother Bill Mellinger. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Heather Beach, Maria Richards, Pheonix Vaster, Autumn Leffew, Brianna Savage, Savannah Savage, Gabriel Neading, and Sunny Neading; and seven great grandchildren; Richard will also be missed by special friends, Terry and Diane Weeks. First and Foremost Richard loved serving the Lord. He was a devoted husband and father. He was proud to be a Marine, and was a huge U of M football fan. Some of Richard's favorite pastimes included playing golf, watching old Western movies, and anything on the History Channel. A Memorial Service is planned for 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Resurrection Fellowship Church, located at 321 Valley St. N.W., Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Pastor Gary Hankins will be officiating. A private burial is planned at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the family. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids. Richard A.
