Richard Thurston

Richard Thurston Born July 25, 1951, in Lansing, MI, to Lyman and Kathryn Thurston. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Thurston Moxley; four brothers, Anthony "Bud" (Christine) Thurston, Philip (Patty) Thurston, Roy (Lynda) Thurston, and Carl Thurston; two sisters, Jeanne (Benjamin) Butler, and Leigh Thurston (Robin Baun); and many beloved nieces and nephews. Rich was a 1969 graduate of Everett High School and later earned a degree in accounting from Davenport University. Rich was a devoted son, caring for his mother in her later years. He will be missed. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Central Free Methodist, 828 N. Washington Ave., Lansing, MI. Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
