Richard Thomas

Richard A. Thomas, age 90, of Allendale, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born on December 24, 1932, in Windsor Heights, WV, to Walter & Elizabeth (Pulaski) Thomas. Richard proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War achieving the rank of Airman 2nd Class. nd He married Linda on February 14, 1984, in Allegan. Richard enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, puzzles, and woodworking. He was a member of American Legion Post # 47 and the Moose Lodge #2541. Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Linda (Keven) Clapp, Cindy Thomas, Kenyon (Robbin) Knuth, Lisa (Ben) Beckon and Kevin Knuth; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; brother, Carl "Skip" (Joan) Thomas. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Ihrig; and two sisters. A Celebration of Life will take place from 12:30 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the American Legion Post #127, 4310 18th St, Dorr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice & the American Legion.
