Richard Thorton Howe, age 88, of Watervliet, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Battle Creek. Mr. Howe was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Committal services, with full military honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta.
