Richard “Wezzle” Buttleman, age 66, of White Cloud, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. He was a well-known man, that would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed spending time outside in the garage, on the water, riding the golf cart, and anything to do with being outside. His greatest joy and love above all else though, was spending time with his wife, Karen and their family.
He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Karen Buttleman; children, Kristal (Robert Duff) Buttleman, AmyJo (Michael Hall) Buttleman, and Timothy “T.A.” Buttleman; brothers, Butch (Linda) Buttleman and Tim (Donna) Buttleman; sister, Vicki (Stewart) Ringler, brothers-in-law, Scott (Laura) Cox and Mike (Sam) Cox; sisters-in-law, Cathyjo Jenkins, Joan Grego, and Diane Buttleman; grandchildren, Jenny (Grego) Buttleman, Jayden Buttleman, CateLynn Applegate, Brianna Buttleman, Edward Buttleman, Timmy Buttleman, Trevon Buttleman, Emma Buttleman, and Gabriella Buttleman; great-grandkids, Dakota and Shirley Grego; and mother-in-law, Connie Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Leona and Earl “Boots” Buttleman; brother, Jesse Buttleman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Per Wezzle’s request cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Robert and Kristal who sacrificed a lot getting him to every doctor appointment, treatment, and hospital visit.
