Richard Brock

Richard Stanley Brock, age 53, of Gowen, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The son of Francis Theodore & Artha Arlene (Huckleberry) Brock, he was born on Dec. 17, 1968 in Belding and was a graduate of Greenville Senior High School. Richard had worked in concrete masonry and later worked at Greenville Packaging. He enjoyed fishing, working with his hands -- especially restoring furniture and woodworking, and playing guitar. He was preceded in death by his mother, Artha A. Brock on May 30, 2016; his father, Francis T. Brock on March 17, 2018; two brothers, Brian Brock and Kenneth Brock; a nephew, Jonathan Brock; his maternal grandparents, Manley & E. Lucille Huckleberry; and his paternal grandparents, Cecil & Dora Brock. Surviving are a brother, John & Marija Brock of Gowen; his step-children, Joe Dann and Jennifer & Jacob Diehl; step-grandchildren, Gabriel Dann, Alaric Diehl, Gavin Diehl, and Nirvana Diehl; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
