Regina Martinez

October 10, 1977 — February 10, 2025

Regina Lee Martinez, affectionately known as Gina to those who knew and loved her, was a radiant light in this world, her spirit as captivating as her talent. Born in Queens, New York on October 10, 1977, Gina brought a unique blend of creativity, wit, and love into every facet of her life. Her journey took her from the bustling streets of New York to the tranquil beauty of White Cloud, Michigan, where she resided for 13 years, filling her home with laughter, love and the hum of her sewing machine. Gina was a professional ballroom dancer, a performer whose grace and talent were unmatched. Her skills led her to the grand stage of the Bristol Renaissance Fair, where she dazzled audiences with her performances. Her creative spirit didn't stop at dancing; Gina was also a talented fiber artist. She had a remarkable knack for silk embroidery and Irish crochet, her loving hands transforming simple threads into intricate works of art. Despite her immense talent, what mattered most to Gina were her daughters and her hobbies. She was a loving mother, a nurturing figure who passed on her passion for art and dance to her daughters, Galadrea and Amarice. Gina was a gentle soul with a touch of spicy attitude, an endearing combination that made her the heart of her family and a beloved figure in her community. She is survived by her significant other, Larry Marvin; their daughters, Galadrea and Amarice; her sister, Cathy DeUsoz; and her brothers, Israel and Ruben Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Guillermina Martinez. Gina's life was a dance, a beautiful performance filled with joy, love, and creativity. While her dance on this stage has ended, her memory lives on in every stitch sewn, every step danced, and every heart she touched. We invite you to share your memories, stories, and pictures of Regina on her memorial page as we continue to celebrate her life, her passion, and the love she shared with us all.
