Raymond Mason

Raymond Lee Mason, age 80, of Brant, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at home. The son of Tyler & Gladys (Sladwick) Mason, he was born on August 19, 1942 in Saginaw. Raymond lived in Chippewa Lake for several years and then returned to the Brant area. Raymond Lee Mason, age 80, of Brant, passed away peacefully on Saturday He enjoyed the great outdoors and loved camping. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to tell everyone his hunting and fishing stories. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tyler and Gladys Mason; a sister, Margie; and two brothers, Floyd, and Arlen & Ester Mason; and two sisters-in-law, Teresa Mason and Cherie Mason. Surviving are his three daughters; Cheryl Pyatt , Linda Gray, and Jacqueline (Jerry) Haywood; his grandchildren, Justin Pyatt, Kandace and Tyler Gray, and Darian and Bradon Haywood; his great-grandchildren, Penelope Pyatt and Brenwyn Gray; five sisters, Bonnie (Wilford) Lacker, Sharon (Gary) Kingsbury, Julie (Chris) Reynolds, Karen (Howard) Peoples, Carol (Donny) Stevenson; and two brothers, Tommy Mason and Jimmy Mason. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Racy Free Methodist Church (19983 West Brady Road, Elsie).
