Raymond Arthur Maltman, age 67, of Belding, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Corewell Health – Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The son of Donald Eugene & Theadora May (VanOcker) Maltman, he was born on October 18, 1958 in Greenville, Michigan.

On July 14, 1984, in Belding, Michigan, he married Kathy May Bauer and together they enjoyed nearly 42 years of marriage. Ray retired from Federal Mogul Corporation and enjoyed mowing and tending to his yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Maltman of Belding; two sons, Gary & Sarah Maltman and Scott Maltman; six granddaughters, Cadence, Adriana, Aria, Zellie, Victoria, and Chevelle; a sister, Patty & Dale Wilson; two brothers, David Maltman and Glen & Lynn Maltman; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Judy.
