Mr. Raymond Lumbert, age 74, of Greenville, passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 8, 2007 at Spectrum Health United Memorial-United Hospital, Greenville. The son of David Nelson & Elizabeth Viola (Baughman) Lumbert, he was born on Jan. 7, 1933 in Nashville, Michigan. Ray retired from Belding Area Schools, where he worked in maintenance at the high school.
Surviving are two daughters, Shelley White, and her fianc Andrew Scram, of Lakeview, and April Corry, and her husband Richard Corry, of Idaho; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dora Harrington of Lake Odessa, and Berniece & Ron Deckerd of Missouri; long-time companion, Sue Staffen of Greenville; dear friend, Leola King of Greenville; and many, many other special friends.
Visitation is on Thursday from 2-3 p.m. at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m.
