Raymond Johnson

Raymond "Ray" Albertus Johnson Sr, 75, of Stanwood Michigan, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, October 27th, 2016. Raymond was born January 22, 1941 in Battle Creek Michigan to Albertus (Bert) and Ruth Johnson. His presence will be sorely missed by his wife Mary Lou of Stanwood; children Sheila (Johnson) Kaminski, Ray Johnson II, Jody Nail, Carl Warren, Kris Hester and Jeff Boughton; siblings Ronald (Ron) Johnson, Marie Tyjewski, Beverly Swank, all of Battle Creek and Naomi Wilson of Eustis Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and countless friends. Raymond was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth Johnson and Leon Johnson, both World War II veterans, and Dick Smith, all from Battle Creek. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, November 10th at Charlotte Assembly of God church, 1100 E. Clinton Trail, Charlotte MI 48813. Pastor Randy Leiter will be officiating. 11:00AM Thursday, November 10th Flowers may be sent to the church where the service is being held.
